Equine Coordinator

Year round position

Leadership development opportunity in a residential and day camp setting that provides a quality experience to campers focused on Catholic values. This year-round position involves providing a safe and successful horsemanship program for campers and staff. The Equine Coordinator assures all summer and off-season lessons and trail rides have a trained staff and suitable horses; is the primary staff member working with the horses and is responsible for supporting staff, upholding and enforcing all policies and procedures, planning activities, gathering supplies, leading activities, building a positive staff culture and being present as a mentor. This position will be responsible for ensuring the overall well being of camp horses including health care, feeding and training.

Environmental Education Staff

Spring 2020 Hiring opening in October

CYO Environmental Education is currently seeking qualified individuals to teach Catholic social teaching and stewardship utilizing our lake, pond, climbing wall, and garden.  Educators teach classes in canoes, on guided hikes, and through other experiential programs for students grades 5-6 in a residential environmental camp experience.  Staff also help lead campfires, night hikes, skits, field games and more.  Our goal is for education staff to have fun while inspiring the next generation of environmental stewards.

Summer Staff

SUmmer 2020 hiring opening in October

CYO Summer Camps is currently seeking qualified individuals to staff Camp Don Bosco and Camp Hamilton.  Summer staff work in a variety of roles including cabin counselors, lifeguards, horseback riding staff, high ropes instructors, kitchen staff and more.  If you’re looking for a job to make a difference while having fun camp is for you.  You’ll help campers make friends, grow in their faith, and unplug from technology for a week all while playing outdoors.  Not only will you help campers, you’ll grow in your faith, leadership skills, and make some of the best friends you’ll have for life.  Through one of our jobs or internships boost your resume with real world experiences.  Staff must be 16 by July 1. Non-Catholics are welcome!

Jobs and Paid Internships starting at $1,500 plus room and board.  Leadership salaries $1,500-$4,500.
