Horse Resident Camp (Grades 3-9)
Horsemanship has never been so much fun! Each camper is paired with a horse for the week to develop essential riding and care skills. Through games on horseback, ground lessons, and a scenic trail ride, campers grow in ability and confidence. We divide campers by ability and age to ensure everyone feels comfortable and challenged at the right level. Campers go at their own pace and earn recognition for progress in their riding. During the registration process you will be asked questions about your child’s previous horse experience and comfort around horses. On the first day of camp, we’ll do an orientation and riding evaluation to make sure they’re matched with the right group and horse.
Beginner Riders
Focus: Foundations & Fun
Campers receive one-on-one instruction to learn basic riding skills, safety, and gentle horse handling. Perfect for building a positive first experience.
Intermediate Riders
Focus: Confidence & Control
Intermediate riders practice balance, steering, and communication with their horse. Activities build trust and riding independence.
Advanced Riders
Focus: Skill Refinement & Leadership
Experienced riders sharpen advanced riding techniques, improve horsemanship on the ground, and take on challenges like faster speeds and harder trails.
