Every day is full of fun and friendship at Camp Don Bosco!  Camp activities like swimming in the pool, archery, laser tag and crafts are interwoven with time for prayer and reflection, making camp a unique place to grow, learn a new skill, and discover Catholic faith in action. New challenges increase by age, making Camp Don Bosco fun for the first or fifteenth time!

Don Bosco Day Camp

Experience all the activities Camp Don Bosco has to offer and return home every night to share stories of archery, the pool and water slide, hiking, fort building, and a campfire with s’mores and songs! Rest up for the next day of more fun and adventure! Bus transportation to camp is available from Seattle and Bellevue daily for $50 a week

*New for 2018 Day Camp includes a campfire experience during lunch on Thursday including songs and s'mores.

  • Outdoor Explorers (K-2): Smaller groups introduce campers to a classic camp experience! 

  • Outdoor Adventures 1 (3-5): Campers learn outdoor skills while having fun all over camp.

  • Outdoor Adventures 2 (6-9): Enjoy adventure filled days expanding your knowledge of outdoor living skills.

Horses

Horsemanship has never been so much fun!  Each camper will be assigned a horse for the week that they will play games on horseback, learn more about through ground lessons, and even take on a trail ride.

  • Pony Pals (K-2): One on one instruction helps campers have a fun positive riding experience.

  • Horsin’ Around 1 (3-5): Beginner to intermediate riders build confidence and skills with horses.

  • Horsin’ Around 2 (6-9): Experienced riders and older beginners will be able to sharpen their skills.

Take Aim

Improve aim and have fun by learning a variety a target based sports, including archery, laser tag, sling shots, and more.

  • Arrowheads (K-2): Learn marksmanship and have fun.

  • Take Aim 1 (3-5): Improve marksmanship techniques including  aim and hand-eye coordination.

  • Take Aim 2 (6-9): Campers have fun playing more advanced games that use critical thinking and more technique.

Splash

Jump into a splash filled week of water adventures and classic camp activities.

  • Guppies (K-2): Double the fun with extra time in our heated pool, splash pad, and slide.

  • Splash 1 (3-5): Get extra pool time in the pool, play a variety of exciting games and field trip to play in the river. 

  • Splash 2 (6-9): Get extra time in the pool to practice and improve your swim skills and ake a field trip to have a relaxing day floating down the river!

Build Discover Innovate

Imagination and creativity have campers using STEM skills to build and construct works of all kinds from legos to wood working.

  • Lil’ Builders (K-2): Every day is spent learning new skills and putting them into practice through different types of hands on projects.

  • Build Discover Innovate 1 (3-5): Campers learn new skills to assist their imagination as they build, construct, and create at camp. 

  • Build Discover Innovate 2 (6-9): These advanced builders get to show off their creativity while practicing safety as they create at camp. 

Zoo Camp

Encounter the wonders of animals from the Pacific Northwest and beyond through workshops with local experts and expeditions to study and track wildlife.

  • Wild Things (K-2): Learn about what animals live in the forest around us by going on mini nature walks and learning about signs of animal life. 

  • Born To Be Wild 1 (3-5): For the animal-lovers out there, this program is perfect for you! Learn about wildlife that live locally through hikes and lessons at camp. 

  • Born To Be Wild 2 (6-9): Become a wildlife tracker and look for signs of wildlife at camp while learning techniques for gathering data. 

 

Don Bosco Resident Camp

Camp traditions like flag, earning beads, and campfire are a favorite of overnight campers. During the week go on a camp out and cook dinner over a fire.  Come enjoy a week filled with fun, adventure, faith, and friends at Camp Don Bosco!

*Japanese Week (Session 4): Campers get to experience a new culture and share their own when students from Japan join us.

  • Mini Camp (1-2): Our 4-day condensed session is full of camp fun with smaller cabin groups for first time campers. (Sessions 2 & 5 Wed-Sat)
  • Classic 1 (3-5): Experience all of the activities camp has to offer.

  • Classic 2 (6-9): Help choose camp activities and experience new advanced archery, challenge and more.

Horses

Group riding and ground lessons help campers gain horsemanship skills and learn why horses are so much fun! Each camper will be assigned a horse for the week that they will play games on horseback, take lessons on, and even go on a trail ride.

  • Trail Scouts (3-5): Beginner riders build confidence and skills with horses.

Counselor or Wrangler in Training (9-10)

Spend one fun-filled week learning how to become a great camp counselor.  Activities include workshops, job shadowing, and leading some camp activities.  Campers are able to return to serve additional camp weeks.  (Session 2, Note: Campers go home between sessions)

Leader or Wrangler in Training (11-12)

Spend one fun-filled week learning how to become a great camp counselor and role model.  Activities include workshops, job shadowing, leading camp activities and helping train CIT and WIT campers during their training week, as well as helping to lead and guide them throughout the summer.  Campers are able to return to serve additional camp weeks.  (Session 1 & 2, Note: Campers go home between sessions)

Family Camp

Give your family the gift of sacred memories at our Catholic Family Camps! This weekend away provides the opportunity to spend family time together un-plugged from your routines and plugged in to adventure activities and time together with God in the beauty of His creation at beautiful Camp Don Bosco.

Women's Camp

Take a vacation from everyday life and join us at Camp Don Bosco to unplug and recharge. Treat yourself to a weekend where you will be cooked for! A schedule of activities, including crafts, pool time, horseback riding and more, will be available and led by camp staff throughout the weekend. Participants can move from activity to activity at their leisure. Morning and evening prayer sessions and Mass will be available. Come enjoy a weekend connecting with women and God in the beauty of His creation!
